Would these Hydraulic cyl. work for CAT. 1 top link?

I took these hydraulic cyl. off of a Unimog that I am parting out. They were used on a rail unit and would raise and lower the rail wheels. They are 2" diameter with a 10" stroke with a 1" rod with swivel ends that take a 3/4" pin, just like the top link on my Kubota. Would they be too light weight, or would they work for top links? I have four of them and have no use for them. What do you think they are worth? they were working just fine when I took them off last week.

Like mentioned in the other thread, you need to measure the closed length-in that picture they look long. Here are two very popular sizes of HTL't to compare them against: 9-7862

Nope, those are pretty much worthless. Tell you what, put them in a box and send them to me, I will store them for you. No sense them taking up space in your shop.

Von, that would seem to be a perfect toplink size. The ball adapters on each end are a perfect configuration too. I'd find similar new cylinders at Surplus Center and price those about 1/3 less from being used and put them on craigslist or eBay and/or the TBN classifieds.

I put one up on ebay to see what it will do. No reserve, so this will most likely set the price on what the other three will be worth.
