I live in Anderson. SC on the GA state line. Are Kubotas cheaper in GA and do you not have to pay sales tax for being out of state?
Thanks

I don't about being cheaper, but I'd bet they would collect the GA sales tax (if there is one).

Most state have reciprocity agreements on sales tax. Sorry.

As for buying a vehicle such as a Toyota in Indiana or Texas or a Ford in Michigan or Missouri, or a Honda in Ohio, just because they may be built there, it just doesn't work that way, unfortunately. Once upon a time, yes. You could drive a new car home from Detroit and save the transportation costs. Those days are long gone.

National uniform pricing now.

That's not to say that there aren't fiercely competitive Kubota dealers in GA. There well may be.

And as long as you aren't financing you can get away with no sales tax!

If you don't mind bending the law. You are still responsible for "use tax" (google it) in your own state. Even if you buy in a no sales tax state your state still wants a cut.

I don't think there is a sales tax on any farm equipment that is actually used on a farm in GA

kubota does equalized freight, so if your 10 miles of 1000 miles from the factory all dealers pay the same freight cost.
