Finally took delivery last night after work. Got some pictures in first and then played around a bit. Thanks to this site and everyone who participates in it. It has really helped me out as this is my first tractor. I have learned a lot and will continue learning. Now I just need some time at home!!

Great looking tractor and one happy owner! That new loader and the R4s sure make my 790 look dated. You'll love the machine as I do mine. Enjoy /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I know how happy you are. I just went through the same first tractor delivery happiness two months ago with my 790.

By the way, the grass in those photos look high. I would recommend getting a rear finish mower asap. See suggestion below.

I know it will hurt, but let the wife drive it NOW, before it gets really dirty. Tell her about all the attachments that are available such as rear finish mowers and rotary cutters. A wife driving a brand new shiny tractor can warm up to a variety of attachments easier than you think.

Actually, we have horses and as soon as we get the fence up on that section it will all be mowed down by the horses. They make quick work of it too. I only have a small section that I actually mow around the house and ditches, everything else is for the horses.

You need to do some fencing?????

Sounds like a perfect job for a 3PT post hole attachment.

Yes, agreed. I have a friend that has one - he has never used it. Bought it at an auction. I'm not sure how to tell if it is compatible with my 3pt though?? I'm hoping it'll work!
