Wanted to give a quick update on the 50 after a few weeks of use. I had put 8 hours of use running the finish mower on the Workmaster the last couple of weeks and filled up the fuel tank. The tractor had burned 8 gallons of fuel. That to me is pretty good and consistent with low load usage. Yesterday I bush hogged over 5 hours in some really tough overgrown pasture. Had not been hogged in over a year. Several places a couple of years. My Brown 472 tooth picked some 2 and 3 inch pines along with a bunch of shrubs and hedges. Tough sledding but the tractor had no issues. Pretty rough and hilly terrain. The FEL worked well in pushing the saplings over prior to cutting. So far no issues to speak of. I did check the oil at 10 hours per the owners manual and the oil has not changed colors. These Tier 4 engines run extremely clean. Plan on finishing up the hogging Friday and will get another fuel usage estimate on more heavier usage. The tractor is still going to be pretty frugal on fuel. So far so good. The tractor has more than met my expectations. New Holland has done a good job with this model.
