I have a new Workmaster 25 and on the back, immediately to the right of where the slow moving vehicle sign mount is located, there is a wiring pigtail just hanging there. There are two wires with barrel style quick connectors crimped onto them. Are these wires there for adding a work light to the tractor? I'm going to mount a work light to the ROPS for using implements at night and if I can just plug right into that pigtail that would be awesome. Or are those wires there for another reason?

Sounds exactly like the pigtail under the right rear fender on my Kubota. I use mine to power my rear flood/work light. You will have to add an on/off switch between the pigtail and the lights.

Actually - you can either have a work light with the switch built into the light OR put a switch somewhere in the line. It was just a whole lot easier, in my case, to put the switch up near my work light. See the flood/work light mounted on the flasher protective "roll bar" in this photo. The switch is a simple pole switch mounted on the opposite side. View attachment 684067

So just to update, oosik is correct. The yellow wire with red stripe IS a hot wire, and the black is for ground at the pigtail in the rear of the tractor. BUT... what I discovered after hours of work (with the help of my father who is a heavy equipment mechanic) is that my new tractor (Workmaster 25) was shipped from production with a problem. The pin that controls the work light circuit in the main harness coming off the back of the fuse panel behind the dash was bent when the harness was installed and that pin was therefore not making a connection. So, my pigtail wires were never hot.

Once we figured that out the rest was easy. We installed a rocker switch on the dash, wired it in, and now my work light comes on/off with the dash switch as long as the key is on.
