Rotary Cutter Woods single spindle rotary mowers to be revised for 2020

I just learned that Woods will be updating some rotary mowers for 2020. Specifically, I asked a dealer about the BB720X and was told that production on those had stopped and a replacement will be released in spring 2020.

I think it was Sawyer Rob who reported this early in the spring. He said the Woods rep told him it would be in his best interest to get one sooner than later, so Rob bought one. I was also looking for a new cutter in the spring, and I bought one too. As well as these things are built now, I can't imagine them making improvements on them. I was afraid the changes would be to cut weight, finish, or something that cut costs. There are a lot of them out there on dealer lots, so I think dealers stocked up on them too. I'm glad I got mine already.

I'm betting the new mowers will make the old mowers hold their price!!!

There's isn't anything on the market that's better than the models they have now, unless you spend a lot more money...

Hype will say the new mowers are better, time will prove they aren't!

The dealer hasn’t seen a new model yet, but suggested that the deck design would be modernized to make it look more up to date with competitors’ offerings. So, whatever that means... there is only so much you can do to change the look of a brush hog...

I agree with SR, I'd get the current proven model. I always try and avoid the first year of a new model.:2cents:
