I have a Woods 1012 66" FEL on my new CUT which is going to be delivered soon. Does anyone have good or bad experience with this unit or similar Woods FEL's? Any tips on use and maintenance?

Thanks!

I have the 1016 with a 72" bucket. The manual recommends greasing every 8 hours of loader use. Mine needed greased more often than that on the lower pins at first. They were a bit tight and was hard to get grease all around it. If it starts to squeek a little before the 8 hours it needs greased again.

The loader has been great. If you dig with it much you may want a tooth bar.

The only thing I am not impressed with is the rubber they use on the boot. Mine is already drying and cracking at less than a year and its stored indoors. Granted its a minor issue. I haven't asked for a new one either...yet.

Thanks CTyler. Saved $900 over a comparable New Holland, and the specs are very close.

I have a 1012 on my 33D and like it very much. SPecs were a bit better than NH's at the time. 2001
