Any preference between the two listed backhoes, for use on the 2520? The price is similar, about 5000 for the Woods, almost 6000 for the JD. The woods has a curved boom, JD is straight. Either way I go, it would be subframe mounted, of course. Can anyone shed any light here? Thanks!

The only Woods 6000 applications I have sat on were mounted to the small B series Kubotas. While I think the backhoe itself is a good match, I found the seating on tractors that don't have the swiveling seat to be very tight, and uncomfortable for me. The boom swing is also limited on the 6000, and that makes positioning the tractor much more critical. I would prefer the Deere 46 in that application. On the other hand I have also seen the Woods BH70x mounted on the small B series Kubota's and would think that would work on a 2520 also? It is a much more powerful hoe, and can be had with a thumb.
