Price Check WOODS BH6000 FOR JD 2210 PRICING

Hi all, After reading PDe's post about his Woods BH6000 hoe on the JD 2210 I am about sold on one for my 2210. I live in NH and called my local dealer and got a quote for $ 7000. Got another quote for $ 5000 from a northern NH dealer. $ 2k is a big spread.

To the folks on the forum that have purchased this item, what is realistic pricing for this unit and if you got a good price would you share the name of the dealer. I am not afraid to go out of New England ( NY, NJ etc) to pick this item up.

I expect to buy the Woods BH6000 for my machine next year. MSRP is $5600, not including tax and dealer installation. I plan on doing the install myself, as the instructions seem pretty straight forward. I might consider buying locally if they sell it for around $5000 with tax, but I know there are dealers selling these units for $4000 and $4500 in other parts of the country.

$5000 isn't a great price, but to me, it's acceptable. There's no way I'd pay $7000 to anyone for that unit, though. I have the name of a dealer in Michigan that has sold those units for $4000, and can pass it along to you if you like. I got the name from another TBN member. Even with shipping and tax, that dealer should be able to get it to you for less than $5k.

I took delivery of my 2210 w/Woods BH6000 about a month ago, it's awesome. Quite a powwerful digger for the size of it, and what it was designed to do, you will not be disappointed with it. Very beefy unit, and a very well thought out design. I bought mine from Pittsfield Lawn and tractor in Pittsfield Mass, as a complete package, but early on I was thinking of buying it from them delivered on the pallet and doing the install myself, for 4400.00, plus 100.00 for delivery. (58miles) I ended up paying 4600.00 in the package with them installing, and delivered the whole thing for no additional charge. Did I mention that I love this tractor?! Good luck and try not to pay more than 5,000.00 for it installed. (closer to 4500 would be better)
