woods BH 7500 Backhoe attachment

I have a kabota 3500 series tracktor with a woods backoe. Just had a hose blow inside the boom. It is one of the dipper hoses that opens the bucket for empying dirt from the bucket. Looks like a take apart project from the boom pins etc, etc, ?? There maybe an easier method, If anyone has had experience in changing these hoses, a piece of advice would be appreciated.

Unfasten the hose at both ends and remove all clamping devices. Wrap a wire around one end of the hose and pull the other end till the hose is out. Wrap the wire around the new hose and pull it into place. Cap the end of the new hose to keep crap out.

I have the same model backhoe as yours. I have only replaced one of the hoses that goes to the stabilizers. I know that before too long I will have to replace some of the hoses in the boom. I was thinking that I would buy a double male adapter and screw one end onto the hose that I will be replacing and the end onto the new hose then just pull the old hose out and the new one will follow. The BH 7500 only has three hose sizes that are used, if you do not have an owners manual WOODS has a great web sight. If you want to go with an after market replacement hose ( I use Discount Hydraulics on the web) I would recommend that you use same type of hose in this particular application. The backhoe comes with R1 or single wire hoses, Discount Hydraulic would probably recommend using R2 or a two wire hose. The issue that you will run into is the holes that you have to thread the hoses through will only accommodate the single wire OD size.
