There are a number of equipment companies that make subframe attached backhoes for the BX2200 nothing was offered by Woods. Looks like one will be available from them soon. This is a response to a query I received from Woods:
<font color="blue">
We do not offer a subframe for the BX2200 at this time as the BH6500 is to large for the BX2200. We will be introducing a backhoe for the BX2200 within the next 60-90 days. Please keep in touch with your local Woods dealer for the introduction information.

I think it would be interesting if they do release a backhoe for the BX series.

I wonder, there isn't a lot of ground clearance on the BX's. A subframe is going to cut that down by another couple of inches. I wonder if that'll cause maneuverability problems on anything but the smoothest terrain.

Does any other manufacturer offer a hoe for the BX's that is subframe mount?

He was confident enought to include his e-mail address.

Koyer, Kwik-way and Wallenstein make subframe attached backhoes for the BX but they all seemed too heavy. I'm hoping that Woods will make a workhorse somewhere around 450 to 500 lbs.

My dealer has been saying the same about Woods as well. We looked into a BH unit from the Dakota's(can't remember the name) and found that while it fit the 2200 you had to remove the ROPS to use it!. Both the dealer and I agreed that ROPS removal was not the way to go.
Guess I'll either have to trade up or wait....much rather trade up!

I received the exact same response from them a couple of days ago, so it's hard to tell where they are going on this (other than later).

I got the exact same thing several weeks ago. My local dealer talked to them, then told me that they said it's in the works.

UPDATE:

I contacted Woods this morning, and talked to someone in the technical dept because Steve is out until 6/28.

The backhoe they are introducing for the Sub CUTS is the BH6000, and will be available for the Kubota BX series, NH TZ's, Case IH DX's, Massey 2300's and JD 2210's. Their (Woods) sales force will be introduced to the units this weekend.

They are considered a 4-point mount, weigh in around 760 lbs without the bucket, MSRP at $5650, available in colors to match each brand, and the backhoe units are currently in production. The differences will be in the mounting brackets for each brand. Availability will be based on orders received, so who knows how long it will be before any TBN'ers will see the first ones. And there is no visual information available for us to look at right now, but hopefully that will change in the next couple of weeks.
