It was made for Cub Cadet by Woods, I bought it used but it had been used very little. My question is should I be concerned about it blowing 2 hoses already? It has done it only under a lot of stress, digging up stumps but I wondered if maybe I'm running too much psi. It has a reservoir and runs off pump from pto shaft. I run it at 540, and usually not throttled all the way up. Probably about 2000rpms. The hoses are a pain to replace because they are inside the boom. Any ideas or comments?

I'd definitely get a guage. You may have bad hoses or need to set /shim relief valve.
RPMs wouldn't make a difference, at least on my machine. I hear a lot of talk about more hydraulic power with more rpms that I don't quite understand. I relieve at xxxxpsi no matter what rpms I'm at. Slower speed=slower function and vice/versa, not less/more pressure.

Hi, maybe some of the people over in the Branson/Century/Zetor thread might know. Some of the smaller hoses aren't rated so high in pressure. Maybe your Century is putting out too much pressure for your unit's design and/ or age and condition of your bh. Just a thought though, nice picture.

Yes, that hoe looks like the Woods GB7500. Four
hoses run underneath the main boom cylinder and
can get pinched and worn by that cylinder. The only
way to see them is to lower the boom all the way to the
ground level, which requires a deep hole. Make sure they
don't overlap each other. A real PITA to change those hoses!

Thanks, I don't think anything is rubbing or pinching because the hose just blows out like too much pressure was on it. The 2 times I blew the hoses I was really putting it under stress digging up stumps, maybe I just to watch my limits a little closer or in fact check my pressure. The hoses on it didn't appear to be as well made as I thought they should be. Under normal ditch digging it works fine. I am also bending and breaking the hitch pin on one side. I broke one off which was slightly bent when I bought it, then put a new one in and have already bent it. Again, I was digging up stumps.

Stumps are the hardest thing for your hoe. 3-pt mounts are
especially prone to causing damage to the tractor. That's a whole other subject.

You should NOT be blowing hoses. Chances are they got worn
or stretched first. I would do a pressure test anyway. Get yourself a $10 4000psi guage and check. You prob have 3000psi hoses.
