Tractor Sizing Woods 750 - Kubota L3710

Looking at a 750 - want to know your thoughts on sizing - is this too much hoe for an L3710?

Woods says they can't say yay or nay because it is a 3pt setup and depends on the beefiness of the support link....seems like I have read threads from people with less tractor, worked okay for them?

Mark, I have a Woods 750 on my Kubota L3000DT. It seems to fit the machine very nicely. On the up side, mine has the sub-frame to chassis. On the down side, it has a pair of remotes supplying the power. I wish it had the pto pump for more power. The hoe is very whimpy about digging!

You can run a 9' on your tractor. Check response in other forum. Don't do a 3pt mount.

The 7.5 woods on the three point would be all that you would want without the subframe.

Thanks all - I guess I'm wondering what this heavy duty "L" bracket looks like that is supposed to beef up the top link when utilizing a 3pt hoe? Anyone have any pictures or more info? Can they be purchased over the web?

I have a tired but functional 750 on an L3430.
I have the woods 3pt kit and pto pump.

Honestly I rarely run the Kubota above idle when running the BH.
It has plenty of power for what I need in most cases.
I don't care for the creaking I hear but I hate the manual shovel far worse!

I would like to move to the 4pt mounting system but my dealer thinks mine is too old to use that system.

It is out in the snow now. The 3pt system and braces are all configured. I will TRY to take a photo but it might be a day or so before I can post it. I think you can find the mounting kit PDF files on the web. I recalling printing one years ago that I found.
