Woods 1009 Front Loader Specifications

Hello again,
My New Holland is equipped with a Woods 1009 front loader. I have not been able to find any mention of the model on the internet, and I do not have the manual for it. Does anyone know anything about it? I would really like to know what its rated capacity is.

Lucky for you, I have a Woods 1012 loader on my NH TC33D, and the manual includes the model 1009. I bought the 2012 because the specs were better than the 7308 loader that NH was offering at the time.

Lift capacity to full height is 1100#, Breakout is rated at 1900#.
This is with the hydraulic pressure relief valve set at the 1009 loader's recommended 2000 PSI.
There was no note of where this was measured (at the pins or ahead of the pins), but it did say "measured in accordance with ASAE S301.2" - I can't find info for that reference.

For me, the lift capacity was only part of it. The model 1012 had significantly larger dump and rollback angles than the NH 7308. I felt this was important for the work I was doing in some of our clay soils around here.

The previous owner's choice of the Woods 1009 is a bit puzzling in your case, unless he bought it after the tractor purchase and was trying to save a bit of money. The NH 250TL loader was standard for your TC35A. It has larger lift capacity than the Woods 1009, and has good dump and rollback angles. If he wanted to go with a Woods, the 1016 loader would have been a better match for your tractor's capabilities.

NH 250TL capacities as installed on a NH TC35A:
Lift cap. max height (at pins): 1800#
Lift cap. max height (500mm in front of pins): 1336#
Breakout force (at pins): 3186#
Breakout force (500mm in front of pins): 2376#
