I'm looking at buying a 3 point rear snow blower for my Kubota B2650, i have found one from WoodMaxx the SB-60 PTO Snow Blower online for $2,249 or a landpride SB1064 my local dealer has the SB1064 in stock. I'm sure it will cost more just waiting to hear back from them on the price i will be surprised if it's under $3000 it's new and a 2017 model Standard Crank.

The WoodMaxx weighs 695 lbs, i wonder if that is with it's shipping box.

The landpride weighs 501 lbs

My wifes thinks i should get the local one since i wouldn't have to mess with delivery and since you can see it first. Is the woodmaxx taller than the landpride? It's really hard to tell going by only pictures. It also looks like the landpride does not come with shoes so that is a added cost.

The Landpride 1064 has skid shoes so no worries there. If you buy the one that your dealer has in inventory now
you can be sure you will have it when you need it.

Like most anything else you can add the bells and whistles like hydraulic controls later.

If the 1064 can be run by your mule you will be able to clear snow as long as you do not try to move to fast in reverse.

I have the woodmax 72in pto blower and am very impressed with it. Had a Kubota blower on my previous tractor and the Woodmax is @ least its equal. This is a very high quality and effective blower for the money.

I would rather see you invest in the Landpride unit ONLY because your dealer has one unit in inventory and you can obtain the parts to upgrade it locally.

You are dealing with the potential of not being able to purchase a snow caster if you do not purchase the local unit or have a pronovost/allied farm king/lucknow/normand unit shipped to you soon as the number of preexisting orders will affect the ability of the manufacturer to ship a unit to you.

I have a B2650 and I will be purchasing the Landpride SB1064 as soon as I save up the funds. I too looked at woodmaxx and a few others, and even though woodmaxx is cheaper, I am still going with the LP, mostly because of it being a local dealer, I know it will fit my quick hitch, its color matched and I can get parts locally too.

What skid shoes should i get with the Sb1064 for a gravel driveway? There's a few inner shoes, outer shoes, outer wear bar, lower wear bar.

Any new opinions on this 4 year old question?

$6k for a 74" LandPride with power angle & deflection (don't remember if that was electric or hydraulic) on m my dealers lot right now.

Just under $4k for a 72" Woodmaxx with either electric or hydraulic controls.

My L4060hstc is set for a 72" track. Possibly a hair wider as sidewalls bulge. Might upgrade to a L6060hstc at some point, but would still set it to 72". The extra 2" on the LandPride might be nice, but probably not critical.

I've gotten by with a SSQA plow for 4ish winters now on the L4060. Lots of huge drifts here in Colorado, so looking for a blower when the plow won't cut it (or can cut it only back dragging a scoop at a time). Local dealer service is nice, but in a pinch I could handle the blower being down.

I don't have a Woodmax snow blower, but I do have one of their chippers....very nice quality and I do recommend Woodmaxx products.
That said, availability of the Woodmaxx snow blower might be a problem this late in the season. I had to wait a few months for the chipper as these are manufactured in China. I assume the snow blower is as well
LandPride also makes great equipment (had one of their rotary cutters a while back) and the unit is available right now.
My suggestion is go with the LandPride. As far as the width, you can always add wings (those might even be available through LandPride) which will give you 2-4 more inches of width
