Wood trim on New shop?

I am finishing up this house. LP Smartside instead of Hardie, but same idea. Stained western red cedar.

I did my outside trim in AZEK. It has been in for 7 yrs and looks new. The carpenter who trimmed the place said that what he likes about it is that it is stable, cuts well for miters, rabbits, dado's. Glues together. I just washed the house and looked it over carefully and it really is like new. I used prime pine on a previous home. primed and painted front and back. About 5 yrs later you could put your finger through any of it.
