Wood Garage / Barn kit suppliers in NE?

Looking to someday add a freestanding barn/garage. Would like either stick built or pole/post&beam structure (not steel). I've come across a couple suppliers on the web, just wondering if anybody has recommendations that my searches didn't turn up. I'd prefer something in New England - I'd like to inspect their facility prior to purchase.

I am assuming that purchasing a kit will be cheaper than building stick from scratch - I know it will be faster... Has anyone done the "homework" to compare costs?

Shelter-kit seems very expensive. Do not know what size you want but Pineharbor is in MA and has Shed Kits.

I'm thinking ~24X36 - 3 bay garage with loft over a walk out shop in the "basement" Right now I'm trying to get a ROM (rough order magnitude for the non-engineers) price for budgetary purposes.

Have you considered buying a timberframe that's been taken down and numbered? You put in the concrete and they assemble a torn down barn on your foundation. There are several companies that do this.

Yankee Barn Homes is right off of Rt 89 in Grantham NH. They now offer barns on a sister website They have a 24X36 barn.
