Won't start - click, click - with solution

I bought a used BX22 a month ago and everything was working great until I went to start it last week. Click goes the selonoid but nothing else. Charged the battery, jump started, still nothing.

Finally took the battery out, cleaned the contacts, still the same. Since it was near dusk, I saw a spark between the wire and the connector. Took the connector apart, cleaned all the rust off the clamps, added some die-electric grease. BINGO. Started up & ran perfectly.

Just thought I would post this for anyone having a similar problem in the future. Learned my lesson anyway.:confused2::confused2:

I had a starting issue on my BX22 also but over winter! No click just lights up and nothing happens. Took a while to figure out that the gear safty sensor was sticking! Some moisture got to it I guess and freeze. As my Bota's shed is not heated is was a reacured a couple of times. So another thing to check if you even have starting issues!
