I have a TT75A and it's been great so far. no frills and lots of guts. My understanding is that new holland used existing technology and basically put it under new metal.

Can anyone tell me which older model was used?

Anyone know where these are made?...I've heard India, England and Georgia.

I sure like it so far. plenty of power, great visibility, handles a batwing easy, and with a 7' john deere bushhog you can mow thick fescue in high 3 and it never thinks of lugging to any appreciable degree....seems like a good tough tractor....no complaints so far.......(a little cold blooded starting in freezing conditions so I bought and will soon install a block heater)....other than that, I love it.....

Sure would like to know a little more of why New holland used an existing outdated straddle tractor....but I'm glad they did..

thanks in advance.

want an honest answer? NH, as well as other tractor companies, were losing sales to Deere's economy line of utility tractors(5103,5203,5303, etc....now known as the 5045E & D, 5055E & D, etc). they've since come out with their own models to compete. the sheet metal of the TT's appears to be the same as the old TN series before they got a makeover. I suspect the engines are the same as well, although don't hold me to that, just a guess. as far as where theyre made, i've heard Italy, but i'm not sure about NH. Deere's economy utility models are made in India and that scares alot of people. i see Kubota has even launched their new line of economy utility tractos this year.

Kinda makes sense. What a lot of folks want is a good basic tractor without the unnecessary bells, whistles, and electronics.

I didn't know Deere started the "getting back to basics" push. I looked at the comparable Deere -- the 5403. Almost bought it, but the New Holland dealer agreed to sell me this for 19.200 at 0% APR.

I liked the 4 vs 3 cylinders as well. So far I'm very happy with it, I'm sure the deere would have been every bit as good...maybe even better, but 3 grand is a lot of money.

I've also heard the TT75A is the old Hesston-Fiat 66 series....wonder if that's true?
