WOHOO!! The New 1815HST got delivered today

Two weeks ago the trans in the lawn tractor with the snowblower died for the second time. Being the good husband that I am, I listened to my wife when she said DON'T fix that thing again, go buy a tractor! Now she wanted the 3316HST but it really was overkill for our needs so we settled on the 1815HST with FEL and we get a new Lucknow 52" 3PT blower tomorrow!!! This afternoon after it was delivered I played and was quite impressed with the job it did clearing the blacktop of the last 6" snow that we have driven on for 4 or 5 days. Suddenly our annual snow fall in Michigan's EUP doesn't seem to be quite so daunting.

Don't worry about the tractor being overkill, I just got mine 2 weeks ago and in the house I'm now in I don't even have a lawn.

I will be using it to scape the desert pretty soon though that my house sits on.

Your wife may come to think your nuts because suddenly you'll find all kinds of reasons to be on the tractor, even at night in cold weather. Next you'll be adding lights, waxing it and buying new attachments for it. You may even park her car in the driveway and put the tractor inside and read it a bed time story at night. Don't be surprised when she ends up having second thoughts on her suggestion.....enjoy your new tractor.

He's right.

Right now my tractor (even though it's a 2003 and old) is in the garage and wife's car is outside in rain and weather.

She told me to build a Mini-garage for it and get it out of her garage... so I am drawing up plans for a 12x20 out building to put tractor and supplies in...and to work on it.
