E-mail him through eBay, he may be able to order you one. I think he's a dealer near Nelsonville, OH

Don't shoot me if I'm wrong, but you can still mount the 54" toothbar on your 60" bucket. You'll just have an extra 3" on each side. (Or, with my luck 2" on the the left and 4" on the right.)

I don't think that you would end up with any sort of a bargain there. Note that the reserve was not yet met and I'm willing to bet it's fairly high.
Others including myself have been very happy dealing with Markham Welding. You should give them a try. My 60" toothbar was pretty reasonable. I couldn't even imagine not having one now.

Re: Wish I had a 54\" loader

Since the seller also has a Grubbin Bucket (another Markham Welding product) listed, I'd also guess that this is a Markham Welding toothbar...

Why not go directly to Markham and cut out the middleman?

Couldn't help it...gotta post.

Because dealers get a discount, and still get to put a couple of bucks in thier pockets. Thus they will still be around in the future when you need help/parts or have a question.

Re: Wish I had a 54\" loader

Right off, I don't see this tooth bar as a particularly good deal...

That said, you can extend the width to fit your 60" bucket.

I bought my toothbar when I had my Deere 670 which had a 54" bucket.
When I traded the 670 in for a Deere 790 with a 61" bucket, I purchased an extra tooth and 12" of the steel flat stock (not actually flat...has a bevel on it). I cut the 54" tooth bar and spliced in the flat stock and tooth.
I work in a fabrication shop, so getting this welded didn't cost anything. I did the layout work and fitting up the ends of the splice.

This modified tooth bar fits better then the original on the 54" bucket.

Of course, the tooth bar on Ebay could be cut down to fit your 54" bucket, but I still don't consider this one a good deal. To me, the auction item shouldn't go for more then $150 to be a "good" deal.

Can't help replying, either...

Well, I guess the next time my toothbar needs a tuneup or warrantly service, I'll just be SOL... /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

IMO, dealers serve a valuable role for some things -- for others they do not... and often that varies based upon whether the owner/user is a "do-it-yourselfer" or not -- in addition to how reliable the product is and how much service it requires....

Re: Wish I had a 54\" loader

The dealer value-ad on an item like this would be if the local dealer had the right size in stock and could sell it to you the same day.

Also, they can save some money on shipping because they get a bunch of stuff shipped to them in one big truckload.

Finally, they might have a shop on premises to drill the holes in your bucket for the install.

A "dealer" who just buys from the manufacturere, markets it on e-bay, and makes you arrange your own shipping is not adding a bunch of value to this product.

They could at least list a variety of sizes so that a purchaser could get one that fits their needs.

It is WR Long. Which is a little more expensive.

Have a nice day.
