Wire basket strainer for fuel tank

Most all the fuel containers I have do not have a fine mesh strainer in the pouring outlet. Both tractors have the same size fuel cap for the tank. I was wondering if anyone made a cylinder shape screen that would fit in the tank and final filter the fuel intake.
I have looked for fine brass screen and have been unable to find it locally. Anyone have other suggestions ?

My Kubota B7100 has a mesh screen in the opening to the fuel tank. I assume it is origional equipment.
