So, how did everyone do with their winter projects? I decided to start a new thread instead of reviving the old one.

My deck and most other pieces all came back from the powder coater yesterday... :D

Here's some of the disaasembly... Every part was disassembled and pictures were taken of everything, mainly so I could remember how to put it back together... :confused2:

This is the deck finished and partially assembled...

And while I was at it, I had a spare set of floor boards done, as the ones on my snowblower machine are starting to really rust.

i need to peel the deck off mine now as i was in a hurry flying around the yard dragging the poo breaker upper when i hit a stump about 6" round stickin out of the ground about the same height and folded the front guide wheel under the deck nearly tearing it off and splitting the deck. oh more work

I hope to give my snow blower the same treatment at the end of the summer.

All of this was less money than buying a new deck, including the parts for the spindles and new blades. If my buddy didn't have the discounts he does with the powder coater, it would have been the same cost as a new deck, without shipping or driving 10-12 hours to pick the new one up. Once I did the math and confirmed this deck was solid, it was a no brainer. Now I don't have to worry about scraping every **** blade of grass off the bottom every time I cut!

Thanks everyone.
