Well it's March 1st and here in the Seacoast NH in my town I came home to almost 12" of heavy wet snow and the 2660 w/2750 did good.....the old JD 322 w/it's boiler plate construction was more of a beast both in heavy snow, not to mention it was a royal pain to mount/dismount and more than once my back paid the price....the 2750 was a joy to mount.....and operate.......kevin

I miss NH!!

Portsmouth was a regular stop for me from '04-'10. Good town, good beer. Alas, my current aviation travels don't get me up to the better parts of the country.

Can I get a picture of the winter landscape?

We got 8" to 10" here in Conway but it's nice and light. I did a pass out and back on my driveway at noon yesterday, which means I get more quality seat time to do a finish clean up today after skiing. I am LOVING my cab with heat, defrosters, wipers and front & rear worklights. Way more civilized than the open-air BX.

This photo was taken around Christmas but you get the idea.

radair,
Beautiful place you have there in NH. Looks like you have enough firewood piled up.

For such large storm and hours of snow falling,we just made 5"...wet w/warmer temps arriving soon.

Here in Southern MN we didn't get any more than 2-3" at once... and that was only once. Dustings here and there, the last system that moved through left mostly rain. I didn't get to use my new blower at all for anything "challenging" this year! I'm sort of upset.

Oh well, summer will go quickly as it usually does... mmmm... bud light premium.....

We are about 20% below normal here in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan - 11 feet so far this season with about 2.5 feet on the ground. I had to snow blow 4 times in the last week and we are expecting another foot tonight and tomorrow. I have used my tractor/blower 14 times this season.

Here in crystal falls (UP of MI) we got about 18 inches with the storm, more snow on the ground now than we have had in any of the last 6 winters. Unfortunately it came late in the year. Here's a couple pics

Thanks Vince! The house has been an interesting project for the last 3 years and I still have a few details left.

I'm actually getting a little low on wood but have enough standing deadwood around so it's no issue. Going to put more up next winter, though!

We picked up another 2" or 3" last night but it has changed to freezing rain and periods of HAMMERING ice pellets. Amazing how the weather is all over the place.

[edit - now it's 40* and sunny. I guess i'd better going scrape off the 2" of slush so it can freeze into a skating rink tonight!]

Don'tcha just hate it when people brag about their great weather. :) At least you'll suffer this summer when the mosquitoes are as big as buzzards.

I was out this morning scraping the couple inches we got off the driveway with a shovel. I couldn't believe I was seeing lightning / hearing thunder today. Was kinda thinking I was dumb to be using my aluminum handled roof rake today (but, ehh....... what are the odds??!!).
