This is not a tractor question. But thought someone might have some helpful knowledge they would be willing to share.
I have an old Sperry New Holland swather with a 12 foot sickle header. When I cut my grass hay the hay does not feed through the conditioner smoothly and consistent. Rather I get clumps of hay I have sped up, slowed down. I have checked the conditioner roller gap. I will get stretches of a consistent looking Windrow then a clump. The problem is the clumps take longer to dry.
Does anyone have any wisdom to share?
Thanks in advance.
