I am looking at the county line (TSC new store brand) 25 gallon electric sprayer, with wand and boom for around 250 dollars.

It has a breakaway boom in the back...

My needs are to spray down the rows in a small apple orchard and a couple of small vineyards. (apple orchards area total of 4 acres, vineyards are 2)

I have been using mowing and a 2 gallon hand pump sprayer...(I know that sounds rediculous, but i've made do with wht I had)

But while "making do" I admit I could not keep up with the weeds with refilling the 2 gallon...so Im thinking bigger is better, but 35-55 gallons are out of my price range.

Do you guys think I'm going to be dissappointed with ath 25 gallon model?

Seeing how you’d being going from a 2 gallon backpack to a 25 gallon electric w/boom, I can’t imagine how you’d be disappointed. I will offer a possible cheaper solution. I bought a 25 gallon sprayer off of Ebay, new. I think it was $135 with free shipping. Then I bought a broadcast nozzle from Northern Tool for another $20. I can spray a path 10-15 feet wide (depending on height of nozzle) with no boom to worry about. I really don’t know how the quality stacks up to the TSC sprayer, but I’ve had no complaints so far.

Don't have experience with that one. But, I'm sure something like that is a great improvement for your case.

I too have used my 2 gal sprayer for hours at a time. The straps kills my shoulders, so I end up carrying it with one arm and spraying with the other. Refilling, refilling, and refilling

I think it be very cost effective for you. You'd get the job done quicker and time is money. And ease of use. I need to look into this also, but I don't have as much to spray as you.

I've got the same type of sprayer, made by FEMCO, but I have the boomless sprayers, this unit will do 30' spray pattern, the nice part about the boomless is you can run right by a treeline and get the spray 15' into the treeline.

We use ours for Tempo for bug control, roundup, I use liquid fertilizer with it also. I hope this helps.
