I've wondered why Kubota didn't make the the anti-scalp rollers on the RCK60B23BX MMM swivel. It seems to me that there would be less wear, plus the process of installing/removing the deck would be easier and faster.

I've been using four of the little 3-wheel dollies from Home Depot to help with the handling the deck and they really help. I install and remove the deck a lot.

I spotted the swivel rollers used on the ZD series and it was love at first sight.

Will they fit my deck?

They look like they should work, but they don't look very beefy to me. I think that the BX deck is much heavier and that those casters will not handle the weight very well. Depending on price, it might not be too expensive to buy 4 and give them a try. Just check the shaft diameter fist to see if it is the same as the BX. Dusty

MikeV - I dunno if they would work or not - the BX deck's rollers are at a 90 degree to the shaft - those casters live behind the shaft... I think IF they fit - they will be really, really close.
What problem are you trying to solve - the BX deck is designed to "float" so your rollers hardly ever hit...

The primary benefit with rollers that swivel would be convenience of installation and removal.

As far as "hardly ever hit..." is concerned, maybe my yard is rougher than most, buy my rollers do a lot of rolling. If you've seen St. Augustine grass in Florida, you know what I mean. And any time you turn, unless they swivel, the rollers are not rolling straight ahead.

This weekend, my deck ate a front roller that had fallen off. It did a pretty good job of mulching it, too. So since I need to replace one roller anyway, I thought I'd see if there was something better.
