Tires Wider Tires for FX17

Presently have 4x12 on front and 8.3x22 on rear. My ground becomes extremely soft in the rainy season and consequently the tractor bogs down to the axle which does make it useless. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif Need to have a bigger footprint. Are there wider tires for the rims that are on the tractor or do I need to bite the bullet and get wider rims and tires. ? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif Any suggestions, comments, or directions would be appreciated!

You are very limited to tires on stock wheels. I have had Hey Wheel make several sets of wide rims and then I put large Industrial tires on them. Here is the rears of my Iseki I have now. Since this picture I put Industrials on the front as well.

I highly recommend Hey Wheel as well. They are super nice, very fast, and the custom wheels usually cost less than you can buy some ready made off the shelf (Yanmar brand or aftermarket). Give them a call and they will tell you what measurements you need or you can send them your wheel and tell them to supersize it. You can find them at http://heywheel.com.

Since you would be starting with a clean slate- I'd find a tire that you liked then get a wheel to match it. Find one that is a common size (used on a Deere or Kubota) and you will usually save lots of money too.
