kioti LB1914
The owners manual on my Kioti tells me you can widen the track to improve stability on grades, (I live in the MO Ozarks, NOTHING is flat here!) It tells the owner to exchange the rear tires from left to right & vice veras??? Problem is how do I know that this hasen't been done already. What is the max when the tires are exchanged? The track is it stands now is 48" to the outside tread of the back tires. How does flipping the tires widen the track???????????????

Thanks
Torry

The rims have an offset. Look at them very closely, or better yet measure from the inside of the rim (the area that bolts to the hub) to the outer edge of the rim. There should be a difference on one side, as compared to the opposite side of the tire. To measure it, lay a board all the way across the rim, then measure to the mounting flange area. Put the board on the opposite side of the rim and repeat, but try to use the same reference point on the flange area. I know that probably wasn't explained very well, but if you think about some, hopefully you will understand what I'm getting at.

Once you figure out which side of the rim has the most offset, that side of the rim should be on the outside (facing away from the hub). Typically you can do the same with the front tires too. I know the front rims on mine can be swapped for a wider or narrower stance. Good luck.
