Is it just me or does MF seem to be the red-headed step child (pun intended) of the forums?

Where's the love?

Most of the MF talk I see is about the older tractors, especially the 135

Just ask anyone who has a relatively new one, either CUT or SCUT, if they'd like to give them up.... My GC's going on 5 years old and I still love it.:)

Maybe they just don't have as many "issues"?

I know the older ones, particularly the 135s, are still very well thought of.

Purely a guess on my part, but I suspect it's just because there are not as many of them sold as some of the other brands.

I think MF owners are out there working their tractors instead of playing around on the internet like the us. You will need to look at the demographics closer. I know quite a few MF owners here in Maine and none of them are on this or any other forum.

For the most part, you will not see prefessional users on forums like this. Mostly hobbiests, collecters and do it yourself'ers like me :)

Yep I have been talking to a family member that runs his MF daily on a professional farm.

Talked to a diesel mechanic who's opinion I trust a lot.

Talked to retired diesel mechanic who recently retired from a dealer that sells blue tractors, none of them have anything bad to say about the newer MF's.

Well, I guess I'll share some love for MF, I am on my 2nd MF and when it gets replaced there will be a 3rd. I keep comming back because I like the product.
I grew up with a jd 4010 and MF 180, and always went with the red one.
And I was only 12yrs old, and now at 54, still prefer the red one.

Besides WE MF owners are a cut above the rest, and I say that just to P*SS
off the other colors.

But all in all, MF's don't need to run from anything like deere does, we just keep working....

As a second thought, CASE IH and MF are the best tractors in the world statistically, CASE IH being better than MF and there are only a few posts from those owners. Just because you see alot of posts-it means nothing in terms of sales.

One opinion;

Count me in as being a Massey fan, as evidenced by my TBN username. In my case, I heavily favor the older Massey 135.

I grew up on MF, (international and ford threw in every now and then).

I'm debating between MF and a Kubota at this point (leaning towards MF)

it's hard to find any reviews on the MF, not only hear but anywhere on the internet.

My grandpa always said "real tractors are red"
