I changed the oil and filter on my F16d. When I fired it back up, to check for leaks. I tried to lift the loader and 3pt. No liftee? I checked the hydraulic screen. A little dirty, but not clogged. Checked pump, working. But the symptons are, nothing happens when trying to lift the loader or 3pt. The engine doesn't even bog down. I am hoping it is something simple that I am missing. Any feedback?

I don't know if this is right or wrong, but I fill hyd oil filter before install? less
chance of air in system, Maybe? But air should purge sooner or later?

Guess I should clarify what I stated. Changed the engine oil. I did notice one of the quick connects on loader was loose. And leaking some fluid. I tightened that up. Also the hydraulic fluid is full.

I think you just answered your question. Changing the engine oil shouldn't effect operation of the Hyd pump or loader. Messing with a Hyd fitting, on the other hand, might have gotten something jammed in the fitting or done any number of things to stop the flow in that fitting.

an engine oil change has nothing to do with your hyd. problem

Right, I didn't mess with the hydraulics. Changed engine oil, filter, and greased the loader and tractor. But when tried to move the hydraulic's nothing happens. So, why would they just quit like that? I had used them earlier in the day. Ate lunch then changed the engine oil and such.

Try inspecting your pump line? (suction) Pull dip stick on trans while running low RPM (clutch now and then, might spray out dip stick hole) look for air bubbles
in trans oil and good flow? I don't know what else it could be?

Fixed! It was the pump. Shaft key to be exact. Rookie oversight. Back to work....Thanks
