wHOLE house oil filter question?

Hi there, this might not be the right cat for this but Im wondering if anyone has this type of spin on filter on the oil furnace line?

I finally found this listing but couldnt get further in the search to find a reasonable place to find just the oil filter spin on part.(without the mount).

this was originally installed by an oil company. I like the idea of spin on filter but think that they use it so they can be the only place to get filters.

Dont want to but I might have to change it back to the 'normal' filters of years past. they are only 4 bucks at HD.

Turn off the fuel, put a can under the filter, and take it to your local NAPA dealer who may be able to match it to something by Wix.

I just went downstairs and got a photo of mine, I'm running two filters in series and I do annual changes.
I also change the nozzle and ignitors every other year, which is about 2000 gallons.

Home Depot also has those spin on filters. I keep about 2 on hand all of the time as my tank is getting older and it direct vents to the outside.

Thanks for the help some good leads.
I almost shouldnt ask. It will set off a firestorm of differing opinions. But I have a large supply of oil filters for vehicles So if I find one that fits the measurements do you all think it is fine?Seems as though it should have the same filtering if not more. Thanks again. I will check Home Depot. I hadnt thought of that ..
