Henry Rifle company is another great company for taking care of their products. If it's a Henry, it's guaranteed for life, they don't care if you bought it used, if you found it, whatever, if it's broke, they'll fix it (and they're really quick getting it back to you)

The only story on here I don't agree with is the whole "lighter saved my life" bit. That's too close to the stolen valor stories I hear.

James' post wasn't asking anyone to agree with what he did, it was about what the Zippo company did by replacing the lighter.

Anyone who did't do stupid things as a child, or things they regret as an adult, please raise your hand.

Heck, some adults do things they should regret, but don't. We moderators see examples of this every day.

Don't care how old he was, doesn't mean I have to like it. I may have done something similar when I was younger, but I grew up. That's why I don't like it now. I wasn't speaking in the past tense.

Perhaps you could post what you did when you were a kid so we could all comment on whether we like it or not.

If I cared about what you thought as much as you worry about others opinions maybe I would.

Actually, there's no need to post what you did as a kid.

Lighten up Francis!

LED Lenser are great lights - good to know they have good warranty.
Gerber are great knives - I bet if you send the company an email from their web site and explain that it was broken in the service, they will replace it.
Zippo has lifetime warranty and are based in Bradford, PA -- good American Company !

On the negative side - we had a Minolta camera that was still under warranty, but they wanted more in shipping and parts than we had paid or the camera.
A new and better Kodak was less than Minolta wanted for repair.

I had great luck with our Minolta cameras and warranty repair.... I was saddened when they went belly up. :(

I have big wrists, so the walmart specials don't fit my wrists except at the largest hole and then they flop around. I get the cheapish Timex Ironman for $25ish and they usually last 3-5 years

Aaron Z

My youngest child is a cross-country runner. She uses the Ironman watches. The velcro strap was getting old and the Atlantic ocean ate her watch. She was bummed. The summer before that, she was raked by jellyfish near the same place. And a few summers before that she mistook a pod of dolphins for sharks and thought the family was gonna die! She's pretty much done with the ocean, but not Timex watches.
