How many of you have heard about YTO tractors, i just started selling and i rep. for them, so far i like them and they are easy to operate and get parts for, 25 - 180 horse power is there range. Also the easiest to start with as far as investment.

We were contacted by them but was not interested, they seem to be a nice tractor in the Foton catagory. They do have some good programs to help dealers floorplan them and based in" Texas" not far from me.This company has all the dist. for the US and have several buildings totaling around 700,00 sq.ft with a railroad spur to get the containers dropped off at the warehouse.Koyker is suppling loaders.Chip at Artrac is also selling them now,I will ask him in a few months how sales are and what his thoughts are on the tractors.I'm not sure how there retail pricing is compared to other chinese tractors but they are going to have to be priced right to succeed,I have found in the last few months that on the larger tractors the Big boys are tightening there belts and offering some really good pricing. The Jinmas in the 20-35 hp are hard to beat, with very good parts support and pricing

Hi,

I have a YTO 180 they are pretty robust for the money but like most Chinese built equipment lack quality control. All fastener not fitted with plain and locking washers, wiring is generally poor, for example the lights and indicator generally stop working withing 6 months and require rewiring with good quality crimps. The engines are good and powerful however I had an issue the first winter, I brought the tractor from new and wrongly assumed the cooling system had been filled with antifreeze to my cost, first real freeze of the year cracked the thermostat housing and luckily shot a core plug, so reducing the damage to the engine.
However on the plus side the local YTO dealer was brilliant and provided me with all of the parts and support to get me up and running again.

I hope this is of use.

Cheers

We are carrying YTO tractors and have sold a 40HP 404 several weeks ago, customer is very pleased, said it is the smoothest hay cutting (sickle bar mower) tractor he has used. the tractor has similar design to the KM series KAMA we imported several years ago (constant mesh trans, planetary final drive, etc). A good basic tractor. YTO-USA has chosen a tough time to enter the market here, but they have the facilites (over 500,000 sq ft). to grow as the market improves, provided they can hold on. Lack of competitive financing and agressive prices from more established brands are going to make it a bumpy ride.

I own a 2008 YTO , X704, I purchased this tractor new , maintain 20 acres of field and 180 acre woodlot . I am very happy with my chinese tractor , like a lot of people it was the price that made my choice to purchase a YTO. I purchased from a local dealer, I have 500 hours on it , the only thing I have purchased for it are lubricants and filters. Being mechanically inclined is an asset , when I purchased new it was assembled at dealership ,I still was able to find multiple stupid issues, such as dash instruments not being plugged in, main tractor wiring harness has many identical plugs , a few wires were actually plugged in wrong places.
These issues aside I am happy with my tractor,I could not afford a new brand name tractor.
I use a BH,bush hog, potato digger, tiller,I plow snow on 2 miles of private road with a county snowblade.
I would purchase same tractor again,I grew up always having farm tractors around me , I would give my YTO a high rating.
I live in SouthWest New Brunswick.
