I got too 'rammy' with a 3pt hitch blade and a stump
my bad.
I bent 1 of the 3pt hitch arms that attaches to the blade. I tried everything to remove the lower pin that holds the lift arm to the rear end. All sort of penetrating oils, heat, pounding etc. To cut to the chase i used a thin blade on an angle grinder and cut it out. Th.e arm is out getting straightened and welded (insert shame emoticon).
With the pin now in pieces I was able to use a low profile 4 ton ram, more Kroil, PB blaster etc etc and get the 2 stuck sections out.
Now I find myself looking for a replacement pin. First problem, I am not sure what the proper name for the part is. As stated this pin connects the lift arm to the rear axle of the tractor. Its 28mm in diameter and 'had' 2 tabs on the one end that bolted it into the rear end.
Any suggestions on where to get a replacement or what I should be searching for?
Thanks
