I sure could use some advice.
I have a PC160LC-7 excavator and an M9960 tractor.
I would like a mulcher to clear land.
Getting a PTO mulcher for the tractor would allow me to transport it more easily (myself vs. hiring a truck for the 160). But, I'm not in the business and it would be a rare thing to need to transport it.
Putting it on the excavator arm would let me get to far more rugged spots. But, I don't have any experience with any sort of quick disconnect to switch between bucket and mulcher.
I'm leaning towards the excavator head.
This is for personal use to clear some land over the next few years. Mostly pines and shrubs and rhododendron.
I see there are a number of manufacturers:
FAE
Fecon
Seppi
DAF
Cat
Loftness
Baumalight
And I'm sure others.
If I had a total budget of $15,000, what should I do?
Thank you,
Joe
