which brand has the thickest sheet metal?

Please don't read to much into the question, and please don't let this become a my brand v. your brand thread- it is just a question, that is all. I thought maybe someone had done the research and might have a ready answer. and yes I know quite a few brands have incorporated resin/plastic, but most have some sheet metal left.

This is too broad of a question. What size machine are you talking about? What age (new)? If your talking about a new small compact size machine than the Powertrac probably has the thickest metal on it I know of. For a classic styled tractor I really have no idea, maybe Mahindra has the thickest wheel wells.
New Hollands have pretty substantial frames but all the body work is plastic for the most part. Same with John Deere.

The way it hurts when I bang a body part on my L48, I'd say thick.no plastic except the dash.

I am talking new tractors, and Utility tractors and below in size so say 50 hp and below.

I can't tell the difference between fenders, hood, and side panels on my father's Kubota and my Massey Ferguson. His is 29 hp, mine 33 hp, mine 6 0r 7 years newer. Haven't really seen any others.

In India, fenders are seats for passengers. The Indian built 00, 20, and 30 series Mahindras have extremely strong fenders. I'm not sure why that matters, but you could do a dance on them.

Hard drive crashed and I lost my India picutres, but rest assured that you seldom see a tractor on the road there without passengers on the fenders. Generally they pull trailers and have a few more poeple on top the load.

How about an India tractor truck combination? The HTM tractor developed in India has 65 km/h top speed. This makes it possible for the farmer to transport goods for longer distances on a trailer.
