Tractor
Kioti CK30HST
After using this tractor with FEL, I find more things to do and now would like to get a BH.
Kioti's site recommends their model KB2375 or KB2376. The specs. are the same. Is there a difference? Also saw the Rhino 75. From Rhino's site, it looks like it's the same as the Kioti's brand and the specs. are almost the same. Does Rhino make them for Kioti? Maybe there is another brand to consider.
Any suggestions or recommendations are greatly appreciated.

They are the same backhoe, just the mounting is different. the 2375 is the traditional sub frame, and the 2376 is a quick attach with 4 pins in the rear, takes about 4 minutes to remove , and 6-7 to install /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I've heard people say to only go with a sub-frame type so you don't snap your tractor in half. Is it the same for the Kiotis?

What Kioti recommends against, and does not support are 3 point hitch backhoes. Both the KB2376 and KB2375 are subframe backhoes, with just different means of attachment. The 4 point hookup actually has a couple of hooks at the bottom that one sets the BH into, then the top is moved into position and pinned in. Very sturdy hookup, but both are mounted to subframes that meet and connect with the loader near the front of the tractor which spreads the stress over a larger area than a 3 point hookup does.

The KB2376 is for the Lk3053xstlb only.
That will not fit the ck series.
I would go with the Rhino 75 backhoe.

SMC/Rhino used to supply backhoes for Kioti, but not any more.
The Rhino and Kioti hoes are not the same hoe.
I second the recommendation for the Rhino 75.

I know that's the way it's supposed to be, but member bluecarpenter PM'd me and was referring to his backhoe hookup which was just like the 2376, but said it was the 2375.
This is part of what he wrote:
( I know the hook up on the subframe is different. the one that i tried last fall had 2 pins at the back. it slid into a guide towards the middle of the tractor. a poor design in that when using bh arm the only thing that keep it from moving were the 2 pins at the back.
Mine has 2 hooks at the back end that are facing back. under axel. back the tractor up till is stops at hooks then raise boom and the front of the subframe pivots up and hooks into 2 U shaped pieces facing down. then install 2 pins under neath subframe. a defininate positive lock.)

I appreciate your and wallace's advise along with everyone else. It's hard to know which brand to consider. Looking at pictures and specs. doesn't tell you which is better. I've used a few different BH's over the years but they were only borrowed for a short time.
Nothing better than TBN and its members.
Thanks again

I think bluecarpenter has the Rhino subframe but the Kioti hoe. I spoke with him on the phone several days ago and he described what he had.

victor,
I but a Rhino 85 on my Ck30hst. I love it. Kioti don't support this configuration.

I wasn't sure about the Rhino 85. It weighs another 130 lbs. and Rhino recommends it for a 30 to 75 hp. tractor. The CK30 is at the low end. The digging force is almost another 1000 lbs. and didn't want to hurt the tractor if I used all the BH has. The extra reach would be nice but it puts more stress on the tractor. If you compare to the Kioti BH, the 85 would be put on the DK35. Have you seen any problems with the 85 on your CK30 or do you just take it easy when digging?
Thanks for the info,
Vic

Okay, thanks Jon, that would explain it. I wondered if the 2376 frame could be adapted to the 2375. It is a nice hookup, and very sturdy. I like it better than my type of subframe. Woods' 4pt is very similar, and very sturdy also, similar to the Rhino and KB2376.

Nope no problems at all. Tractor is pretty heavy. I use the hoe hard.

I just got my Woods 7500 4 point hoe. So far it seems great but I don't have a lot of time on it yet. The subframe stays on the tractor ( which is diff from the Kioti I believe) and the hoe is real quick on/off. Clearance loss is minimal but it does stay on all the time. I can post some pics later if any wants to look at it.
