Where to take used oil and hydraulic fluid?

My new KIOTI DK40 has now reached 50+ hours, manual states that its time for a full fluid change along with the filters. My question is not how to do this but what can I do with the 17+ gallons of left over used fluid that I will have when i'm finished. Thank you for any help

I heard that TSC might take some but dont know if this is true.

In Iowa, every oil sales place must have at least a list of used oil handlers, and some will collect it as well. Check around at the local auto parts place.

We don't keep motor/hydraulic oil separate, all goes into the same pail.

I use mine for starting brush fires. I save up old cardboard so the oil doesn't soak into the ground, pour it over the pile and let 'er go.....Mike

Check with any auto parts store or possibly where you bought the oil. They all should have a tank for waste oil. No cost to get rid of it either.

In my neck of the woods (SC and NC), counties accept waste oil and filters (motor and hydraulic) at their waste handling facilities.

Wal mart and Autozone takes it. They sell the used oil so it's big profit maker for them and they gladly take it.

even walmart. some have limits but they are available..
