Oil & Fuel Where to buy oil, hydro and trans filters online for Mahindra Max 25 HST

Hello.

I've got a new Mahindra Max 25 HST coming up on the 50 hour maintenance. Does anyone know a good place to buy filters online? My dealer is an hour away and I would like to buy online and have them shipped to me. I haven't had any luck finding decent sites on Google to buy these filters.

I'm looking for Oil Filter, Hydrolic Filter, and Transmission Filter.

Appreciate any advice!

I have been ordering from Bill's Tractor Parts they have a filter package that has everything you need. Your tractor is here FILTERS FOR 25 MAX MAHINDRA TRACTOR you end up paying shipping but its worth it. If I go to the Mahindra dealer for my Max 28XL they usually have to order it and that means another trip 40 minutes away.

I would take the numbers and try to cross reference them with a NAPA dealer or other small chain type auto parts store.

I had my 50 hour service done by a local Mahindra dealer. They are close enough to that I drove my Max25 down to them. The bill was $250. The filter/parts were about $50 and the 2 hours labor were at a $100 per hour. I'm doing the 100 hour myself.

So seeing the $130.50 as the discount price makes me question it a little.

Just call your dealer and have him ship the filters to you. Don't bother wasting your time shopping around when you could be keeping your dealer happy with your support of his business. You need him as much as he needs you.

I have used mahindrapartsonline.com a few times before.

Also Wix seems to be doing the best with keeping up with mahindra filters. here is their current crosses for the max 25.. fuel and engine oil only:

You can then cross the wix part number to your favorite filter if you have a preference.

I use Bill's tractor as well. I bought a year 2000 2815 4WD with 432 hours on it. Changed all filters and fluids on it and I love it. Bought everything I needed from Bill's. Ask for Daryl Bright. The man is a trove of information and provides excellent customer service.

I just went through this myself for my 2216. I use the filter locator on the Wix website and then searched around looking for that Wix part number or equivalent NAPA filter.

Will soon be doing the 50 hour thing on an eMax 22. The manual is pretty hopeless, but none of it looks hard compared to the Kubota I had before. However, there is a contradiction or 2 in the manual. (1) Where is this "final drive"? or does it not even exist on an HST - I would guess not, (2) What is the actual amount of fluid in the HST? The manual has 2 very different amounts listed (differing by 2 quarts) and (3) Where is the suction strainer? Is it one of the 3 bolts on the bottom of the case that you open to drain the fluid?

I might be able to suss this out with a flashlight and enough time, but it would be nice if there a few hints in the manual or a Workshop Manual.....

I'm sure the dealer can answer as well if I bug them, but seems like something I shouldn't have to do

I found out my Mahindra dealer had better prices on the filters than my local auto parts store, and the store couldn't cross ref one of the hydro filters.

Just call your dealer and have him ship the filters to you.

Be mindful of any tractor in warranty and using non Mahindra filters and oil.

As far as the oil level in your 22 it has a dipstick below the seat you can just fill it up until it reads full. Running the tractor after that and doing a final check will help be 100%.

You have a Hyd. spin on filter about mid ways under the frame. and also a spin on HST filter located behind the right rear tire that need to be changed for the 50 hour service. You will not have to change the hyd/trans oil.
