Where does this filter go on my John Deere 4100?

I ordered a John Deere filter kit (LVA21197) for my 渡ew to me 4100 tractor. I changed the engine oil and filter, the air filter, and the fuel filter?but there is one filter left from the kit. It痴 a screw on canister type filter similar to the oil filter, but larger. The number on it is LVU800097. I looked the part number up, and it痴 a hydraulic filter?.but I can稚 seem to find the location for this filter on my Gear 4100. Is this filter only used on the Hydrostat 4100痴? According to my manual, the hydraulic filer for my tractor is right under the PTO shaft, but it痴 a cartridge type with a screen that has to be pulled out of the housing to replace?.it痴 not a screw on filter like what came with the kit. Did I order the wrong kit for my Gear 4100?

Does the tractor actually have 2 oil filters?

I don't know about your 4100, but on my 4110 hst that filter goes on the transaxle and filters the hydraulic fluid. HTH

My 4310 E Hydro also had 2 hydraulic filters, one on the trans, and one by it's self under the floor pan.
