I just bought a 3 spool Cessna control valve that I wanted to use on my wood splitter for a table lift cylinder and wedge height adjustment cylinder. I don't need but two spools but for what I got this valve for I couldn't turn it down. The third spool is a motor control spool and I was thinking that when I build my new processor I could use this valve on that for one of the motors there. But for now I just want to get my old splitter working.

The place I got it from had a big pile of valves and cylinders and they didn't really know what they came off of but one guy said he thought this valve came off of an old trencher of some kind. Anyway, I pulled what numbers I could find off the valve but I can't find anything out because nothing comes up accept junk that has nothing to do with hydraulics.

One of the end caps has Cessna /made in USA on it. Ont the bottom there are a bunch of Pat # but on each section there are some other numbers. on two of them is, 30000 C in the middle and there is what looks like 49 on each end. the center one has what looks like ol1 EA. There are two other numbers also, 7N029 JDW and the other one is, 30003 AAD. I can't seem to get any of these to come up. I know I'm just looking in the wrong place but I've spent two days looking and can't find anything.:confused2:

Could someone please point me in the wright direction to fine out the specs on this valve? Thanks in advance!!!

Thanks JJ, but I've already been through those pages before. This is not a monoblock valve it is a stack valve. The block off plate on one end has no ports in it at all. On the other end of the stack are the in and out ports with the work sections in-between these two end pieces. I found another number stamped in each work section and that is, 30000-108. I'll take a pic when I get back to the shop and post it.

Is Cessna hydraulics still in business?

eaton purchased Cessna so there is a slight possibility that Eaton distributor could help.

Yeah I thought they must have gotten together somehow because I see eaton/cessna come up a lot in my searches. I went to the eaton literature page to see what I could find there I didn't see anything that came near what I have. I called one of the hydraulic shops here in town and they were not much help either. OH well back to the drawing board. Thanks for your help.

On the ones from surplus center how do those work? ? I really like the price on those

I think every one of the valves in the surplus center link where for single actin cylinders, be good for a dump bed. Pressure up and float down.
