My B21 almost always has the backhoe mounted on the rear (where else?) So I guess I've grown use to the balance. Last week I took off the hoe and put on a PTO post hole auger and drillled a series of holes along a hill. Being very carefull backing up along the hill I completed the holes with no problem. Then I decided to help the guys by bringing the sacks of concrete up to them.
Simple math: Auger at rear with weighted tires = 350#
Front end 4 in 1 loader+ 10 sacks of conc. =1100#
As I was backing up on nearly level ground something felt
a...
little...
fishy...
I look back to see my right rear tire way up on the air - I am teetering on two wheels!
Slowly lower the loader - make note to stop assuming and pay more attention.
Also discovered the trick when I'm stuck of pivoting the loader back and forth to push me back up a slippery hillside.
Learned two things in one day! not bad - I'm ahead of schedule /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

mdbarb,

How many sacks did you unload before you tried it again? /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Who's 4in 1 bucket do you have and would you get the same one again?
