Wheel kit for panel gate?

Does anybody know if there's a wheel kit available for a panel gate? All I've found so far is set up for tube gates. I have an old panel gate that's sagging pretty bad and I need to make it useable as a stop-gap measure until I'm ready to replace it.

If you can't find one and I've never seen one. Modify a kit for the tube gate to fit youy need or just build it from scratch. All it would take would be a piece of plate to attach to the gate weld on a piece of round stock (1/2 " dia) for an axle and a wheel. Let your imagination go from there.

I don't know what a panel gate is, but figure you can make a bracket for wheel out of angle iron. Just drill a hole at the end of the angle iron for a bolt that will hold the wheel. Then drill at least two holes at the other end to bolt it to the end of the gate. I'd want the top holes about a foot apart, so the angle iron should bee at leat 14 inches long where it touched the gate and then whatever the distance to the ground is should be added to that.

Northern Tool has gate wheels that you may be able to adapt for your use.

...don't spend any cash before you look thru your "Junque-Pile"....

A few bits of angle iron, two 1/2" rods and two old lawnmower wheels and this buggy can support any type of gate...tube, c-channel or wooden...wire it on and let it move loosely...
