What\'s your Fuel Consumption... Gallons per Hour

I am wondering if my Diesel fuel usage is typical...

Kubota BX 23: .45 gallons per hour (11 hours on 5 gallons)

Cat D3 Dozer: 5 gallons per hour (8 hours on 40 gallons)

I have a Mahindra 2615HST, 26HP and use about 1 gal. per hour using loader. Slightly more when using 3 pt. rotary cutter. A little less just driving around.

Mine varies, of course, with operation, but averages about 0.5 gallons per hour, 21HP Kioti CK20HST.

Brushogging tall stuff uses the most of anything I do.

Ford 3000 (1974) diesel,(dyno's 43 HP) 11 gallons in 8 hours while bush hogging (6'). That's all this one's done since replacing gasser.

Massey Ferguson 150 (1972)diesel.(dynos 46 hp) 7-1/2 gallons in 8 hrs while bush hogging (6'). 9-1/2 gallons in 6 hours while plowing. uses next to nothing for light work.

John Deere 2440 (1978)(dynos 64 hp) 2-1/2 to 3 gallons per hr while bush hogging. (8') More than 3 gallons per hr while plowing. Uses fuel while parked, I think.

MF-1533 with 8x8 trans. I have really only checked it with using the bush hog and I should use around 1gal per hour. With not using anything on the PTO it seems the fuel last forever, like when I 'm just cleaning up after the horses dragging the pastures. I thought Massey maybe thought about it and made the fuel tank the size for a 8 to 10 hr day, my fuel tank is 10.6 gals.

MF-1533 with 8x8 trans. I have really only checked it with using the bush hog and I should use around 1gal per hour.
