This happened in August. The salt spreader fleet is upgraded every summer to avoid breakdowns during the snow season. As you can imagine salt is everywhere on the truck and its an ongoing battle to keep rust and corrosion at bay. Average lifespan is about ten years before they are beyond upgrading.
