Whats that abandoned mystery skidsteer?

Okay this is the only useful pic I have of it, its diesel (well at least it is now) and the owners knowledge of it goes as far as "I think its a 1987"

Im thinking its probably a Gehl, but could be a model of case?

Pretty sure the Gehls of that era had red bottoms and white tops. But it's been a long time, and who knows if that's original paint. Are you thinking of buying??

It sure has the Gehl look. At some point in the 80's Gehl did away with the cylinder above the lift arms that controlled the bucket dump.

Yeah, its pretty much mine, Im in a jam with a job (blowing money on an overpriced rental) and was after a 4 in 1 bucket, this one came with the whole working machine for cheap.
The color wont be original, but the thing that I think I can see is that the back of its been extended when it would normally stop nearer where the lifting arm hinges are. Im guessing its been repowered and the back has been added onto to fit the engine in or the models back end is just unlike any model I can find images for on google.

The set up of the loader with the ram position etc point to me thinking its a gehl

If it lasts 50 hours, it will have paid for itself.
