What\'s my 2615HST Worth??

I have a 10 month old Mahindra 2615HST 4X4 with a 106 loader, the unit has 150 hrs and is in excellent condition. I want to sell the 5' brushcutter and 5' leveler also. I absolutely love the tractor and would buy another if Mahindra offered ac/heat.

Can someone tell me what would be a fair price, and what would be a good magazine/Website to list it on? I have a toolcat on order, and I think I'll use the money from the sell of the 2615 to purchase a smaller used BX23.

Don't know where you're located but around here they have a weekly publication by Auto Trader Magazines with a separate Heavy Equipment Trader which has listings for tractors / farm equipment. These books go like hotcakes in the gas stations. They are also at www.traderonline.com or traderpub.com As for a price? you're on your own, it's like a new car when you drive it off the lot, not new anymore. You might want to sell attachments separately too.
You might want to try them out.

Like the last post, not sure where you are. Here in Maine a publication, Uncle Henry's, does the same thing, comes out on Thursday AM, good stuff gone early!! Another place used to be: http://www.machinerylink.com/used-farm-equipment/ but I just went there and the link didn't seem to work quite right. If it is working you just put in your tractor model etc and gives you a price. Let us know where you are and what you decide. Someone right from TBN may be interested.

I'd ask 80% of what you paid for the package, less any taxes. Someone will get a bargain.

Thank you very much for your response. 80% of $15K is about $12K and that would work for me. (To be honest that's about $1200.00 more than I was thinking) Are you a Mahindra dealer? If so, are there any plans to enclose the cab of the 15 series? I came across a thread the other day that discussed cabs for the 15 series (actually, it was for the Mitsubish branded tractors sold in Europe). I'll see if I can dig it up. I was interested it it, also.

I think you can get soft cabs for the Cub Cadet 72X5 series tractors. Which are the exact same machine as the Mahindra XX15 series.

These guys have SIMS soft cabs with AC available:

They do online pricing too. Hold your breath for the price on the AC unit.

Not sure if that is what you are looking for though.

BIG DADDY, Laurin Cabs out of Canada makes a nice hard cab for the tractor. Thier listing for it would be under Cub Cadet model 7265, but they are the same tractors. You can reach the company at 1-888-528-7464. I hope this imfo is helpful to you.

I did a search and found the following page for Laurin Cabs...

Cabs for Cub Cadet

Just select 7265 from the dropdown to get the specs on a cab that should be compatible with our 2615's.

It looks like you are getting good advice on the cabs. I am a dealer and I do not think there is a factory cab in the works for this model, at least not now.
