My experience has been the opposite being the local mom & pop 5 miles away from me was unwilling to offer hardly any discount and seemed aloof with an attitude. I am a pretty good hybrid mix of city boy country boy. I have had acreage and animals for over 20 years, but also have worked in cutting edge technology most of my life. I think all the local dealer could see or smell was my city boy side. They apparently mostly work with the farmers around here (cattle and chicken) and must not care much about their sales figures not enough to give me much thought. Then I went to Tri-Green about 30 miles away in Murfreesboro. My salesman was very helpful and gave me a good deal. He has supported any questions I have had. Less than a year after getting the tractor, I returned to him to purchase my Gator. He was one happy guy although I had to push a little more on this one for discounting, we both ended up happy.
They have had all fluids in stock and were easy to deal with. It is convenient for me to stop in and pick up anything, as I also work in Murfreesboro.
