What\'s different in 2320/2520?

I read Stoneham's summary of the 2320 and 2520 models. The main reason they say JD did these new models is to meet new Tier II emission requirements. They don't say what was done to the engines to do this. Otherwise, they seem very similar, almost identical, to the 4110 and 4115 models.

Anyone know?

If you have been to Stoneham's site, then you have all of the specs that are available, you just have to click on the link to "view printable version of all features and specifications".I believe it tells you that the 2520 is a direct injection 26.5 h.p. ,solid mounted engine and the 2320 is the same engine as the 2305, a 24 h.p. indirect injection, rubber mounted.
The 2320 also has a very slow reverse speed, I'm not sure why Deere does this, but I wish they would stop it. There are other differences such as available tire sizes and pump capacities.

Looked at Yanmar site. Looks as though they went to 4 valves/cylinder on some engines and improved the injection siting on all of them, possibly the piston tops, too.

Otherwise, the tractors appear to be the same as the 4110 (indirect injection, replaced by 2320 which is same) and 4115 (direct injection, replaced by 2520 which is the same).

They made some changes to the MMM and FEL to improve their on/off eases.
